EU-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Cooperation Committee delegation visits Milli Majlis

Chairman of Azerbaijan`s Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov has met with a delegation of EU-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Cooperation Committee.

Asadov emphasized the effectiveness of holding such meetings. “This meeting, an open and genuine dialogue have a great role in developing the relations.”

Head of the delegation Sajjad Karim from the European Conservatives and Reformists Group said he was astonished by Azerbaijan’s hospitability.

He touched upon Azerbaijan-EU relations. “Although we have recently experienced some undesirable cases, we are re-establishing the cooperation with a solid foundation. Such a profound attitude to our delegation once more proves our common features. We highly appreciate this.”

The delegation also met with chairman of the parliamentary committee on international and interparliamentary relations Samad Seyidov.
