The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan has strongly condemned in the terror act committed in Mansoura city of Egypt which resulted in civilian casualties.
"The Republic of Azerbaijan, as a country suffering from terrorism, deplores all forms and manifestations of terrorism and reiterates the necessity of strengthening the efforts of international community to fight against the terrorism," the statement of Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry said on Dec.25.
Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry also extended its condolences to the families and relatives of the victims of this terror.
A strong explosion occurred on Dec.24 in front of the police headquarters in Mansoura, in 120 kilometers from Cairo. According to the Egyptian intelligence, a car filled with explosives and driven by a suicide bomber exploded. According to the latest information, some 15 people were killed and over hundreds of people were injured as a result of the terror act.
