CBA reports liquidity problem regarding Bank of Azerbaijan

Bank of Azerbaijan is facing temporary liquidity problems, Azerbaijani Central Bank (CBA) Chairman Elman Rustamov told journalists Saturday, May 10.

"We, as regulator, are aware of developments, we monitor the situation and negotiate with the bank's management to settle these issues," Rustamov said.

CBA head also said he hopes that the talks will result in the settlement of problems.

Earlier media outlets reported about the worsening of financial position of the Bank of Azerbaijan.
