Bridget Brink: Azerbaijan is an important partner of the US

Azerbaijan is an important partner of the US, the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Bridget Brink said.

“We support the new Silk Road initiative. By implementing this project, Azerbaijan is becoming a center of cargo transportation. It’s an important issue in terms of economy and security. We discussed cooperation in the economic and energy spheres. I visited the Sangachal terminal, which is indicative of our cooperation. I had positive and constructive meetings. I met with the president, the foreign minister, and opposition members,” the Deputy Assistant Secretary said.
