Azerbaijan, Russia have strategic friendly relations

Azerbaijan and Russia have strategic friendly relations, Azerbaijani ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu said at the fifth Azerbaijani-Russian interregional forum in Qabala region on June 23.

"The friendship relations today are strategic and become more widespread every year," he added.

The ambassador stressed the role of Russia as one of the world's political and cultural centers.

The basis of the Azerbaijani-Russian relations is mutual understanding," Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin said.

"The Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation must be enriched by the development of interregional relations," he said.
