President Ilham Aliyev held number of official meetings - UPDATE - PHOTOS

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received former Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium Yves Leterme.

Former Premier Yves Leterme noted with satisfaction that the 2nd Global Shared Societies Forum was organized at the high level and featured fruitful discussions. He said Azerbaijan was an exemplary country for its rapid economic development.

Saying Azerbaijan has hosted a number of important international events in recent years, President Ilham Aliyev expressed hope that the 2nd Global Shared Societies Forum would become traditional too.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received co-chair of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, director of Egypt`s Bibliotheca Alexandrina Ismail Serageldin.

The head of state thanked Ismail Serageldin for his assistance in organizing the 2nd Global Shared Societies Forum.

Saying the forum is already becoming an international institution, President Ilham Aliyev expressed hope that the event would continue operating successfully.

Thanking President Ilham Aliyev for high-level organization of the 2nd Global Shared Societies Forum, co-chair of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, director of Bibliotheca Alexandrina Ismail Serageldin stressed the importance of the fact that the forum had gained worldwide popularity in a short period of time.
