President Ilham Aliyev offers Republic Day greetings to Indian counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has offered congratulations to Indian counterpart Pranab Kumar Mukherjee as his country celebrates the Republic Day.

In the message, President Ilham Aliyev praises Azerbaijan-India relations, saying they have rich traditions.

“It is my hope that we will continue our efforts – in the best interests of our people – towards developing the relationship between our governments as well as our friendship and cooperation.”
President Ilham Aliyev wished Pranab Kumar Mukherjee good health and successes in his work, and “the friendly Indian people peace and prosperity”.
