President Ilham Aliyev receives outgoing Pakistani Ambassador - UPDATE - PHOTO

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Ambassador of Pakistan Ikramullah Mehsud, who completed his diplomatic mission in the country.

The Head of State noted Azerbaijan and Pakistan were fraternal and friendly countries. The President praised political relations between the two countries.

President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of the two countries` mutual support within all international organizations, and expressed confidence that the bilateral cooperation would continue to develop successfully in the future years.

The Head of State said the Azerbaijan-Pakistan ties played an important role in development of the regional cooperation. The President lauded the Ambassador`s tenure, and wished him successes in his future activities.

Ikramullah Mehsud said political ties between the two countries had been developing successfully, and expressed confidence that the bilateral relationship would be expanded even further.

The diplomat thanked the Azerbaijani government, especially President Ilham Aliyev for providing excellent conditions.
