Ataturk leaves orders and medals

According to the amendments to the law on "State awards and medals", image of Ataturk will be officially removed from orders and medals in Turkey, the Turkish Resmi newspaper reported today.

According to the information, along with Ataturk's image, the abbreviated name of the Turkish Republic (TC) will be also removed.
