Heydar Aliyev Foundation's care to ancient Roma monuments hailed

Italian “II Tempo” newspaper has published an article about activities of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation related to the restoration of a number of historical monuments in Rome.

The article says that a number of ancient Rome historic monuments are in poor conditions.

The article underlines the importance of the restoration of monuments, and highly appreciates contribution of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the government of Azerbaijan in this respect.

Mayor of Rome Ignazio Marino also shared his thoughts on the issue by saying, “We want continue archaeological excavations in a number of archaeological sites with assistance of the Azerbaijani students studying here”.

The article hails Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s engagement in restoration of the Philosophers Room at the Capitoline Museum.

Attending the opening of the Philosophers` Room after its restoration, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Italy Vagif Sadigov said that these unique cultural samples do not only belong to Italy, but also to all mankind.
