Defence chief Hasanov visits air force units

Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov visited a military unit of the air forces on Friday.

The minister toured the runways, got acquainted with the combat readiness of aircrafts and conditions at the military camp, according to the Defense Ministry's official website.

A group of servicemen were also awarded medals and prizes.

The defense minister gave instructions to more rapidly and effectively execute combat missions in line with the measures on protection from air strikes.
