Azerbaijan hopes to agree all cross-border issues with Iran in the near future, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov told media on Monday.
"The commission on the Azerbaijani- Iranian border issues is working on the matter," he said. "A meeting of this commission is being held in Baku today. The agenda includes the use of rivers and bridge borders. We hope to agree cross-border issues with Iran in the near future."
The legal department heads at the Foreign Ministry are charged with the work of the commission which comprises of experts from both countries.
