President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has accepted credentials of new Ambassador of New Zealand Taha MacPherson.

The diplomat passed along a ceremonial guard of honor.

President Ilham Aliyev had a conversation with the Ambassador.

The Head of State said there was great potential for development of relations between
Azerbaijan and New Zealand on various fronts, including in the field of economy.

The President stressed the importance of exploring opportunities for cooperation and further strengthening partnership between the two countries.

Taha MacPherson congratulated the Head of State on his re-election as President of Azerbaijan.

The ambassador said he would try his best to contribute to boosting the Azerbaijan-New Zealand relations.

The Head of State noted that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Japan had been developing successfully on various fronts.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed hope that cooperation between the two countries would be developed rapidly during Tsuguo Takahashi`s tenure.

The diplomat said the last year saw the celebration of the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Japan.

The Japanese Ambassador noted the relations between the two countries had been developing rapidly in various directions, including political, economic, and humanitarian fields.

Mr Tsuguo Takahashi praised ongoing rapid development processes in Azerbaijan.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received credentials of new ambassador of Guinea Mohamed Keita.

Mr Mohamed Keita passed along a ceremonial guard of honor.

The Azerbaijani President had a conversation with the ambassador.

The Head of State said there was mutual interest and big potential for development of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Republic of Guinea, however, expressing regret that this cooperation falls behind the necessary level.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that Mohamed Keita`s tenure would see the two countries establish business relations and study opportunities to define a new cooperation format.

The Guinean diplomat congratulated the Head of State on his re-election as President of Azerbaijan.

He said Guinea was interested in strengthening economic cooperation with Azerbaijan.

Mr Mohamed Keita noted there were ample opportunities for development of the Azerbaijan-Guinea cooperation, adding he will spare no efforts on this front.

The diplomat passed along a ceremonial guard of honor.

President Ilham Aliyev had a conversation with the ambassador.

Mr. Frederick Shumba Hapunda conveyed greetings of Zambian President Michael Sata to the Head of State.

He hailed rapid development processes in Azerbaijan. The diplomat said Zambia was interested in development of cooperation with Azerbaijan in the fields of energy, industry, tourism, agriculture and trade.

The diplomat said he would spare no efforts to contribute to expanding the bilateral ties on these fronts.

Mr. Frederick Shumba Hapunda noted there were ample opportunities for development of the
Azerbaijan-Zambia relationship.

He said Azerbaijan and Zambia were actively cooperating within UN and other international organizations.

The Head of State stressed the importance of exploring opportunities for development of bilateral ties between the two countries in various directions, including economy, trade and business.

President Ilham Aliyev noted the significance of active cooperation between Azerbaijan and Zambia within the United Nations.

The Azerbaijani President expressed hope that cooperation between the two countries would be
expanded during Frederick Shumba Hapunda`s tenure.

The Head of State asked the diplomat to pass on his greetings to the Zambian President.
