New road bridge commissioned on Azerbaijani-Iranian border

A new road bridge over River Araz in Julfa border checkpoint on Azerbaijani-Iranian border has been commissioned, Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohsun Pakayin told Trend on Feb.14.

Trucks with tonnage of over 30 tons will be able to pass through this bridge.

Earlier, the Iranian side informed the relevant structures of both of the countries that the passage of trucks with tonnage of over 30 tons will not be permitted due to uselessness of the old bridge over River Araz in Julfa border checkpoint for this purpose.
