President Ilham Aliyev examines construction progress in 2-4 km section of Baku-Alat highway - PHOTOS

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Sunday inspected construction work in the 2-4 km section of the Baku-Alat highway around State Flag Square.

The President learnt that this part of the road is 2.8km in length and 41.50 meter in width. The eight-lane road will allow vehicles easily accessing the capital city from south and south-west. Four pedestrian overpasses are under construction around State Flag Square.

The extension of the Seaside National Park to the State Flag Square is successfully going on. The President viewed the construction work here.

The President also saw landscaping and reconstruction work around the State Flag Square. The Head of State gave certain recommendations and instructions.
