Ilham Aliyev expresses condolences to Israeli president

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev expressed his condolences to Israeli counterpart Reuven Rivlin on September  28.

"We were deeply saddened by the death of Shimon Peres, former president of Israel, prominent statesman and public figure, Nobel laureate,” he said.

“On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I extend my deep condolences to you, the bereaved family and people of Israel," said President Aliyev in his letter.
