Azerbaijan International Development Agency, UNDP explore ways of expanding cooperation

Director of Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA) Ashraf Shikhaliyev has met with Assistant UN Secretary General and head of Bureau of External Relations and Advocacy of the UNDP Michael O`Neill.

According to the press service of Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Shikhaliyev highlighted the activity of and international projects realized by the AIDA. The sides exchanged views over a number of spheres, including further expansion of cooperation between the AIDA and the UNDP in the fight against Ebola.

Mr. Shikhaliyev has also met with deputy executive secretary of the UN Capital Development Fund Xavier Michon. The sides discussed cooperation in a number of fields, including ICT and finance services.

The meeting between the head of the AIDA and assistant UNDP administrator Magdy Martinez-Soliman discussed mutual cooperation, including fight against Ebola.
