Number of foreign students to be increased in new academic year

The number of the foreign students at the Azerbaijani universities is expected to increase in a new academic year.
The statistics data, entered from the universities, testify for this, the Education Ministry Told Trend.

2400 foreign citizens from 35 foreign countries study at 22 Azerbaijani universities. Only 220 students study at state line, the rest – on base of private contracts. Their number is expected to increase by 20-30 persons this year.
