Baku voices stance on so called “parliamentary elections” in Georgia’s Tskhinvali region

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan reiterates its firm support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and does not recognize the so called "parliamentary elections" conducted in Tskhinvali region, South Osetia, Georgia on June 8, 2014, according to the Azerbaijani foreign ministry.

The ministry strongly believes that ongoing negotiation process should be continued in a constructive manner to find a viable solution to the conflict.
