U.S. and Europe want peace and prosperity in South Caucasus

The U.S. and Europe are committed to peace and prosperity in the South Caucasus, the U.S. co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, James Warlick wrote on his Twitter page.

Warlick also expressed his attitude toward opening of the Swedish embassies in Baku and Yerevan, noting that he is pleased with these events.

Sweden opened its embassies in Baku and Yerevan on March 3.

It should be noted that a delegation headed by Sweden's State Secretary for Trade, Gunnar Oom visited Azerbaijan in 2013.

During the meeting between the Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov and Oom, the latter highlighted Sweden's decision to open its embassy in Baku.
