Schools built in Azerbaijan’s regions on initiative of Heydar Aliyev Fund

A new school for about 100 pupils was built in Gilavar village of Shabran region on the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Fund, according to a message from the press-service of Heydar Aliyev Fund posted on the organization's website on Monday.

According to the message, eight classrooms, laboratories, a library, a computer room in the one-storey school building with total area of 963 square meters were provided with new educational supplies, rich literature and equipped with modern equipment.

In addition to a sports hall and a chess room, football and basketball courts were built and work on landscape gardening was carried out in the school yard. The building was equipped with heating system and a boiler room.

The pupils of Kovar village of Yevlakh region also met the new academic year in a fully renewed school. Complex works on overhaul repair were carried out in three-storey school building and in ancillary buildings on the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Fund.

The reconstructed boiler room and transformer station provide the building with heat and electricity. The water supply systems and sewerages were reconstructed in the building and a complex playground was created.

The fenced territories were fully renewed, trees were planted in a well-appointed school site, and work on landscape gardening was carried out. The classrooms and laboratories were equipped with the equipment that meet modern requirements.
