Azerbaijani president congratulates Turkey’s new PM

Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev made a phone call to Turkey's Prime Minister Binali Yildirim on May 24, the Azerbaijani president's press service said.

President Aliyev congratulated Binali Yildirim on his election as the head of Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party and appointment as the country's prime minister.

Azerbaijan's president wished him success in his state activities and robust health.

Yildirim expressed gratitude to President Aliyev for his attention and congratulations.

During the phone conversation, the parties expressed confidence in the successful development of friendly and brotherly relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan in all the spheres in the future.
