Baku to host meeting of CIS Committee of Chiefs of General Staffs

Baku will host a meeting of the Chiefs of Staff Committee of CIS member states on April 7-8, press service of the Defense Ministry said.

The first meeting to be held in Azerbaijan will be attended by chiefs of general staffs of the CIS countries.

Azerbaijan`s Defense Ministry is attending the meetings of CIS Defense Ministers Council and Committee of Chiefs of Staffs. The meetings of the CIS Defense Ministers Council were held in Baku in 2001 and 2006.
