Azerbaijan ready help to Sudan - FM

Azerbaijan is ready to provide help to Sudan through the Agency for International Development, Azerbaijani Foreign Affairs Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said at a meeting with the newly appointed ambassador of Sudan Mohammad Elias Mohammad al-Haq.

Mammadyarov congratulated al-Haq on his appointment as ambassador to Azerbaijan and wished success in his future activities, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's report said on Monday.

Relations between Azerbaijan and Sudan, developments in Africa, as well as in the South Caucasus were the focus of discussions during the meeting.
