Azerbaijan's Economic Development Minister to visit Latvia

A government delegation of Azerbaijan led by Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev, staying in Estonia since January 21, is going to visit Latvia on January 24.

According to the press service for the Ministry of Economic Development, the delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, Azerbaijan Export and Investments Encouragement Fund (AZPROMO), Azerbaijan Investment Company as well as business circles.

It should be reminded that in the framework of the visit to Estonia the delegation is to meet with the Prime Minister of the country Andrews Ansip, chairman of the Parliament En Ergma, Minister of Foreign Affairs Urmas Paet, Minister of Economic Development Johann Pats.

Moreover, H.Babayev is also expected to meet with representatives of Estonian-Azerbaijani Caspian Group, BLRT Group and  Baltik investment bank famous in the ship building spheres. An Estonian-Azerbaijani business-forum will be held in Tallinn on January 23. Azerbaijan will be represented by nearly 10 companies engaged in agriculture, fishing, industry and other economic sectors.

In Latvia the delegation will meet with the Minister of Economic Development of the country and discuss prospects of economic cooperation between the two countries.
