New private bank established in Uzbekistan

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has registered a new commercial bank in the country.

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan issued a license to the new “Madad Invest Bank,” according to the message posted on the bank’s website on November 2.

The license provides the right to carry out banking operations.

The Board of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution on issuing license to private joint stock commercial bank “Madad Invest Bank” October 22, 2016.

The message didn’t specify the location of the bank, the size of its share capital, and other parameters. Representatives of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan were unavailable for comments.
