IS plans terrorist attacks against Israeli, Russian citizens in Turkey

The “Islamic State” (IS, aka ISIS, ISIL, or Daesh) terrorist group plans to commit terrorist attacks against Israeli and Russian citizens in Turkey, Haberturk newspaper reported citing the country’s intelligence service.

These plans were revealed following the arrest of the IS members in Turkey’s Gaziantep province.

Turkey has faced deadly terrorist attacks in recent weeks.

On March 13, a car bomb attack in Ankara left 36 people dead. Istanbul was also targeted by a suicide attack on March 19, leaving four people dead. Turkish authorities have accused Daesh, the PKK and the PYD terrorist groups for the attacks.
