President Ilham Aliyev receives former President of Estonia Arnold Rüütel

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Saturday received former President of Estonia Arnold Rüütel. Rüütel stressed the existence of “good” relations between Azerbaijan and Estonia. He noted importance of reciprocal visits towards further development of ties.

former Estonian President described the international event to mark Azerbaijan`s 20th anniversary of independence as "well organized".

He highlighted the significance of the event in terms of representatives from various countries, in particular, European Parliament to learn more about the country`s achievements during the past 20 years. Rüütel branded Azerbaijan`s progress an `example` for other countries.

The President of Azerbaijan expressed his satisfaction with former Estonian President`s participation in the international event. He noted that this event “contributes to expansion of inter-parliamentary relations”. Recalling his visit to Estonia, the Azerbaijani President praised the `good` level of relations between the two countries.
