UK ambassador Carolyn Browne ends mission in Azerbaijan

UK Ambassador to Azerbaijan Carolyn Browne, who ends her diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan, leaves Baku this week, UK embassy said.

Carolyn Browne is a career diplomat. She has been in her office as the UK ambassador to Azerbaijan since 2007. She worked in the UK missions in Russia, UN and EU, as well as took different offices at the Foreign Office. Peter Bateman will replace Browne in the post of UK Ambassador to Azerbaijan. He will reportedly take the office later in September.
