Participants of Great Patriotic War to get financial aid

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order to increase presidential pensions of persons of several categories who participated in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

Under the presidential order, participants of the Great Patriotic War, the persons who were employed in enterprises, agencies and organizations in besieged Leningrad, and the holders of the Medal “For the Defense of Leningrad” and “Resident of Besieged Leningrad” Badge (except for the war disabled) will have their monthly presidential pensions increased to 100 manats from May 1.
