26 November 2013 [18:35] - TODAY.AZ
There needs to be a negotiated, not military solution to the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. U.S. Ambassador to OSCE Daniel B. Baer said, U.S. State Department's website reports.

He said the meeting between Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents in Vienna, which was the first in almost two years, is an important step, and both leaders are to be commended for that.

"And we are glad that there will be a follow-up not long after that, a chance for the foreign ministers to meet," he said.

Commenting on the upcoming meeting between Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers, US ambassador to US said: "I don't want to prejudge what the content of their conversation will be, but we will continue to support the Minsk Group, and obviously, the U.S. is one of the co-chairs of the Minsk Group, and Ambassador Warlick has been working very, very tirelessly along with his colleagues. And we will continue to support their efforts to support the parties in finding a durable solution."
