Heydar Aliyev Foundation organized 'Evening of Azerbaijan' in Stuttgart - PHOTOS

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has recently held an event within "I learned Azerbaijan" project which is being implemented in Germany, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation said on Nov. 15.

The "Evening of Azerbaijan" event was organized in Stuttgart with the support of the Azerbaijani honorary consulate in this city.

The music by Gara Garayev, Fikret Amirov, Jovdat Hajiyev was performed at the event.

Azerbaijani People's Artist Farhad Badalbeyli and Murad Huseynov performed the musical works on piano. Cologne's "Minguet Quartett" also performed at the event.

Azerbaijani Honorary Consul in Stuttgart Otto Hauser stressed that the Azerbaijani music and traditions are a real treasury. He recalled that Azerbaijan has been known as a land of tolerance since ancient times.

Hauser thanked the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for organizing the event, stressing that the foundation not only popularizes Azerbaijan in the world, but also expands the relations between the countries through these projects.

"Azerbaijan is characterized by its tolerance," Hauser said. "The Heydar Aliyev Foundation plays an important role in the existence of tolerance in the country."

"The Azerbaijani culture will not be presented by only music at the event," Hauser said. "Azerbaijani cuisine will be presented for the guests during the event."

"Germans in Azerbaijan" photo exhibition was also organized at the event. The publications on the history and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan were presented.
