Azerbaijan standing against distortion of Azerbaijani toponyms - MFA

Azerbaijan is standing against distortion of Azerbaijani toponyms in the territories occupied by Armenia in Google Earth and Google Map and will urge the management of these search sites to correct the mistakes, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev told media today.

The Azerbaijani embassy in the U.S was charged with clarifying the issue and informing the management of these sites about the Azerbaijani side's position.

According to Abdullayev, Azerbaijani citizens must also stand against such distortions, appeal the management of these search sites and urge to correct the mistakes.
