The OSCE Minsk Group`s Russian co-chair Igor Popov has said there had not yet been plans to organize next meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents with regard to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Popov told journalists that following their regional tour the co-chairs were expected to have another meeting with the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
“We plan to hold separate and joint meetings with the foreign ministers of both countries. So, the meeting of the presidents is not yet the topic of discussion.”

Popov noted that he discussed with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov latest incidents on the troops` contact line.

The Russian co-chair said that issue would be high on the agenda during their Yerevan visit.
The Minsk Group`s US co-chair Robert Bradtke hailed his meeting with the President of Azerbaijan as constructive.

He noted that the co-chairs would cross the troops contact line from Azerbaijani side, and then will head to Karabakh. “Continuing the practice of crossing the contact line is very important,” he added.
