Japan`s Fuji Optical renders optometric service to Azerbaijani refugees

Azerbaijani Deputy Prime-Minister Ali Hasanov met Japan`s Fuji Optical President Dr. Akio Kanai.
The aim of the visit is to render optometric service to Azerbaijani refugees, IDPs and the needy families.

The Company delivered 4500 glasses to Azerbaijan, visited Tartar, Goranboy, Sabunchu and Binagady regions and rendered service to 2227 people and spread 1973 glasses. Since 2005, the Company has spent over 1 million dollars to its activity in Azerbaijan.

Kanai hailed reforms in Azerbaijan and thanked the government of Azerbaijan for the current visit.
Hasanov expressed his gratitude to Kanai for rendering optometric services to the refugees and the needy families. He expressed his confidence the Company`s humanitarian aid would be further continued.

Head of UNHCR Dag Sigurdson was present at the meeting.
