Azerbaijani, Russian defence ministers sign cooperation plan

The defence ministries of Azerbaijan and Russia have signed a plan on cooperation for 2015.
The document was inked by Azerbaijani Minister of Defense Zakir Hasanov and his Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu in Baku.
Prior to the signing ceremony, Mr. Hasanov hailed Azerbaijan-Russia cooperation, saying it was built on “friendship and mutual confidence”.
The Minister touched upon Armenia`s military aggression against Azerbaijan, saying “20 percent of our lands have been under occupation with more than a million Azerbaijanis living as refugees and IDPs”.
Mr. Shoigu hailed relations between the two countries, describing Azerbaijan as an “important” partner of Russia.
The ministers also exchanged views over international and regional security, and military cooperation in the Caspian Sea.
