Azerbaijani youth and sports minister to attend Int'l Olympic Committee's session

Azerbaijani Youth and Sport Minister Azad Rahimov will attend the 121st session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and XIII Olympic Congress to be held in Copenhagen on Oct. 1-9.
Candidate cities to host XXXI Olympic Games in 2016 will be presented at the IOC session. The session will select the city and the president of the committee will announce the winner city, the ministry said on Sept.30.

The XIII Olympic Congress plans to discuss relations between athletes, federations and the national Olympic committees, protection of health in training and competition, the structure of the Olympic movement, sports ethics and youth sports activities.

Senior sports figures will attend the event.
