President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Barda district on a visit.

The head of state first visited a statue of Heydar Aliyev in the newly-built park-boulevard after the national leader in the city.

Head of Barda District Executive Authority Vidadi Isayev noted that the statue was build in accordance with a unique project.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening ceremony of a park-boulevard after Heydar Aliyev in Barda.

The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the facility.

The 2400m-long park-boulevard covers an area of 47 hectares, and will be expanded in the future. The 12m-height entrance gate of the park is 36 meters in width. The complex has six additional entrance gates, two artificial lakes and 12 fountains linked by bridges.

A statue of national leader Heydar Aliyev was erected in the center of the park.

President Ilham Aliyev planted a tree in the park.

The 1.2km-road was built here for cycling lovers. The park-boulevard also has a 1000-seat artificial grass stadium, an indoor hand games ground, a 1000-seat summer cinema, a children`s entertainment center, a mother-child cafe, a two-storey tea house, trade and catering facilities and an administrative building.

The head of state was informed about a layout of a new suspension bridge which will be built over the Tartar River. The length of the bridge will be 128 meters, while the width 18.5 meters.

President Ilham Aliyev was also told of draft layouts of the Garabagh state historical museum.

There are a 300-car parking lot, flowering bushes and trees.

President Ilham Aliyev viewed the remains of an ancient bridge in the park.

The length of the boulevard will be expanded to 4.3 km.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has reviewed a newly-built residential complex for 588 internally displaced families in Barda.

Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the State Committee on Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov informed President Ilham Aliyev about the residential complex. IDP families, who were temporarily living in hostels in Barda, will be resettled in the new complex.

President Ilham Aliyev reviewed apartments.

President Ilham Aliyev viewed a scheme and a model of the complex. The President was informed that the new residential complex covered an area of 11 hectares. The complex has 588 apartments, a 640-seat school, a 140-seat kindergarten, an automatic telephone system and other administrative buildings. The construction of the complex started in June, 2014, and ended in March, 2015. This complex is the 90th residential area built for refugees and IDPs.

The head of state also reviewed the school. President Ilham Aliyev viewed photo stands reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s attention to education and his meetings with IDPs. It was noted that all conditions have been created here.

The head of state also visited the kindergarten and familiarized himself with the conditions created here.

President Ilham Aliyev praised the conditions created in the residential complex.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of Barda “ASAN xidm?t” regional center of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations.

The head of state was told that the construction of Barda “ASAN xidm?t” regional center started in April 2014 and was completed this March. The four-storey center is located on the Heydar Aliyev Avenue close to city infrastructure facilities.

President Ilham Aliyev cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the center.

Barda “ASAN xidm?t” regional center received an international certificate in accordance with OHSAS 18001: 2007 standard this year.

There are seven “ASAN xidm?t” centers in the country – four in Baku, and three in Sumgayit, Ganja and Sabirabad. Barda “ASAN xidm?t” regional center is the eighth such center.

President Ilham Aliyev reviewed the center. It was noted that the facility will serve nearly 800,000 people in Barda, Aghdam, Aghjabadi, Lachin, Yevlakh and Tartar.

The head of state was informed of “ASAN school” project, which will be implemented by the Ministry of Education.

President Ilham Aliyev viewed new projects in the center`s Innovations hall.

Barda “ASAN xidm?t” regional center will employ 170 people, including 60 volunteers. There is a library, a cafe, a mother and child`s room, a children`s entertainment zone.

President Ilham Aliyev met Barda residents.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has reviewed the progress of repair work at Barda Mausoleum.

The head of state was informed that the mausoleum was built by acclaimed representative of Azerbaijani school of architecture Ahmad bin Ayyub Al Hafiz Nakhchivani in 1322.

Restoration at the mausoleum started under President Ilham Aliyev`s instructions in 2011. Repair work is carried out by the State Service for Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Children`s Art School No. 1 as part of his visit to Barda.

The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the school.

The construction of the school started in early 2014, and ended in March, 2015.

The three-storey Children`s Art School was supplied with necessary equipment. There are photo stands in the foyer of the school reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s visits to Barda district.

The green areas were laid out, and a modern lighting system installed here.

It was noted that the school has 32 classrooms and other auxiliary rooms, and an auditorium.

President Ilham Aliyev listened to performance of the school`s pupils.

In conclusion a picture was taken.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening Mollaisalar-Valiushagh?-Mollaahmadli-Sarkarlar highway as part of his visit to Barda.

It was noted that 5.8 million manats were allocated from the Contingency Fund of the President to the Executive Authority for the repair of the road under the head of state`s order dated August 14, 2014.

Mollaisalar-Valiushagh?-Mollaahmadli-Sarkarlar highway, which is 15.5 km in length, links 11 villages with the total population of more than 10,000 people.

The head of state was informed of indicators of the newly-repaired Alpoud-Mustafaaghal?-Naz?rl?-Qaratepe road. It was noted that 4 million manats were allocated from the state budget for the reconstruction of this highway which links 14 villages with the population of more than 24,000 people.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of Garabagh Agrarian Industrial Park in Barda.

The facility included a 5,000 t logistic center, cattle-breeding complexes, a meat cutting and processing factory, and a fodder plant.

Garabagh Agrarian Industrial Park created 300 jobs.

Large production, processing and infrastructure facilities have been built in the country thanks to preferential loans provided by the National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support of the Ministry of Economy and Industry.

The fund granted nearly 70 million manats in loans to more than 2,000 entrepreneurs in Barda. This resulted in the creation of nearly 4,300 jobs in the district.

A cattle breeding complex in the district`s Turkmen village is one of the facilities whose establishment was funded by the National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support, which allocated 2.5 million manats to this end. The facility created 50 jobs.
