President Ilham Aliyev hold several meetings

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyevreceived members of the Supreme Religious Council of Caucasian People, who are participating in an international conference on strengthening religious tolerance (Azerbaijan’s model of religious tolerance and existing challenges in the OSCE area and beyond).

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates, co-chair of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori.

Minister Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori noted that big development processes that he witnessed during his stay in Baku made a deep impression on him. He said his country was following Azerbaijan`s achievements with great interest. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori stressed the importance of developing the relations between the two countries in economic, political, investment making and other areas in terms of the expansion of regional ties.

President Ilham Aliyev noted with pleasure that the United Arab Emirates achieved huge development. Saying that new development projects are being successfully implemented in Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence the visit will be a good opportunity for the delegation led by UAE Minister of Economy, co-chair of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori to familiarize themselves with ongoing investment projects in the country.

The parties discussed the issues related to the development of the cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates in various areas of economy.
