Careless handling of weapons claims two lives in Azerbaijani army

Two Azerbaijani soldiers died as a result of careless handling of weapons, the law enforcement agencies said on Aug. 5.

Being wounded as a result of careless handling of weapons, serviceman of No military unit located on the frontline of the Azerbaijani and Armenian troops, Murad Samadov died.
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry confirmed this fact for Trend.

A criminal case was filed in the Military Prosecutor's Office. The investigation is underway.

Nineteen year old Murad Samadov was called up for military service from Absheron district. The corpse will be delivered today in his hometown Khirdalan.

A similar incident also took place in No-military unit, located on the territory of Beylagan region. Being wounded as a result of careless handling of weapons, twenty-two year old soldier Javid Mammadov died.

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry confirmed this fact for Trend.
