Rovnag Abdullayev: "In the future Azerbaijan will play a significant role in provision of energy security of Europe"

Day.Az reports with reference to the press service for SOCAR that Abdullayev noted that through the past years the cooperation between SOCAR and USAID are deepening and as an example listed the signing of a grant agreement to prepare a feasibility study of the Transcaspian oil and gas pipeline list year.

In the future Azerbaijan will play a significant role in ensuring energy security of Europe. At the same time Azerbaijan may become a transit country of hydrocarbons from Central Asia to Europe and it is ready to provide its infrastructure for the purpose", announced he.

In turn, Fore noted that USAID is ready to support SOCAR projects on cleaning of oil polluted areas. She said the United states highly appreciates Azerbaijan's achievements in the energy sector.
