During this period, 99 business aviation flights were carried out, which served 372 passengers.

Peak days for arrival of participants of the Formula 1 European stage were June 14 and June 16. Every day up to 6,000 passengers arrived at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

During the race, Silk Way West Airlines, Cargolux and Nippon Cargo Airlines operated 7 charter flights and 1 part-charter flight with bolides and Formula 1 equipment. The cargo turnover amounted to over 1.6 million kg.

The eighth round of the European Grand Prix successfully wrapped up on the cost of the Caspian Sea -- Baku, where Azerbaijan’s capital demonstrated how to stage a new Grand Prix, treating race fans and the F1 fraternity to the warmest of welcomes and to a truly remarkable circuit.

Baku City Circuit was the second longest F1 track on the calendar, with a length slightly over six kilometers as an anti-clockwise layout. Many described this track as the most complex, entertaining and very curious, for both racers and spectators.

Azerbaijan's inaugural Formula 1 race in Baku was a visual feast. During this weekend the capital of Azerbaijan lived in a particular rhythm, where there was everything -- adrenaline, ultra-high speed, bright racing car “flying" around the track at crazy speeds, and finally a huge bottle of champagne at the finish.
