Armenian terror was high on agenda of the conference "Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict: the world must know the truth", held at the State Administration Academy under the President of Azerbaijan, on November 18.

"Armenian terror organizations arranged 373 terror actions against Azerbaijan in the first years of the independence. They killed and injured thousands of Azerbaijanis as a result of bloody Khojaly genocide," said Azer Salimov, teacher of the National Security Ministry's Academy after Heydar Aliyev.

He added that Armenian terrorists fell their back on political terrorism acts to reach their goals.

Armenian terrorism is well-known for its bloody actions in several countries of the world. Its notorious ASALA terror organization, which intends to create "big Armenia" through terrorism, carried out numerous fatal operations in Turkey and Azerbaijan.

"Armenians committed regular terror actions against Azerbaijanis since 1995 in purpose to create "great Armenia". Investigations proved numerous terrorism acts by the Armenian special forces in Azerbaijan. Terrorists were not only held criminally liable, but also were raised to the level of national heroes in Armenia," Salimov said, adding that Armenian terror is a part of the international terrorism.

Azerbaijan has long suffered from Armenian terrorism, which dates back to the 20th century.

Armenian terror organizations conducted two terrorism acts in Baku metro in 1994, leaving some 27 dead and 107 injured. Investigations revealed that the members of Sadval separatist terror group, who have been instructed and trained by the Armenian special forces, were behind the bloody events.

Armenian terror organizations' activities have also resulted in numerous terror acts committed in 1970-1980s around the world against Turkish diplomats. ASALA, a leftist terror group, is responsible for the deaths of more than 40 Turkish diplomats in total.
