Iran, Armenia mull Karabakh conflict

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi and Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan met in Yerevan today, and discussed a wide range of issues, Fars reported.

Such topics as the Azerbaijani-Armenian Nagorno Karabakh conflict and Syrian issue were the main topics of discussion.

Aragchi has earlier arrived in Yerevan upon the invitation from Armenian side.

The sides discussed various economic, cultural, political and recent regional developments.

Kocharyan visited Iran with an official visit in February, held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, and Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi as well.

The sides discussed development of political and economic relations between the two countries, as well as execution of the agreements signed between the two countries.
