Agenda of PACE winter session made public

The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan will be discussed during the winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on January 24.

The agenda of the session has already been made public. The winter session of the PACE will be held in Strasbourg on January 24-28. On January 24 PACE Bureau and Standing Committee will discuss the progress in the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan. Rapporteur of the Ad hoc Committee of the Bureau Tadeusz Iwiński, who observed the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, will present a report.

Report on the parliamentary elections in Moldova will also be heard at the meeting. The protection of journalists’ sources of information, reforms in the Council of Europe, Eastern Partnership program and its impact on the economic development in Eastern Europe, Kosovo issue, the functioning of the democratic institutions in Georgia, implementation of the Bern Convention will also be discussed during the session.
