Azerbaijan joins meeting of heads of law enforcement agencies

The 8th meeting of the committee of heads of law enforcement agencies under the CIS Council of Heads of Customs Services has been held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

The event has brought together representatives of the relevant bodies from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Moldova, Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia and the other countries.
The event saw discussions on upgrading skills of employees working in the relevant sphere, coordination on fighting against the illegal drug trafficking.

The event featured bilateral meetings. The event participants also reached the interagency agreement on strengthening measures on fighting against customs violations. The next meeting will be held in Minsk, Belarus.
