Iran to rally against nuclear terrorism

Iran is building a global campaign against the assassination of its scientists, Iranian Ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Ali Asghar Soltanieh said on the sidelines of the IAEA's annual conference in Vienna, Press TV reported.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran is not going to retaliate," Soltaniyeh said. "Tehran was committed to the very principles of Islam and, accordingly, would never seek reprisal."

He, however, denounced the foul play as 'inhuman' and 'crime against humanity' and said that the killings had to be investigated with the help of international institutions.

"We have to pursue the matter in the context of nuclear security. And from now on we want to have more and more public awareness, and we expect all the [IAEA] member states...to support this matter to protect all scientists of the whole world, particularly nuclear scientists," Soltanieh said.

The IAEA conference also hosted speeches by some of the family members of victims.
