
Azerbaijan`s trade transactions with foreign countries amounted to $19.8 billion, official at the Economic Development Ministry, Huseyn Pashayev, has said.
Speaking to a German-Azerbaijani business forum in Baku, he noted: “The share of exports in this made $14.5 billion, while imports totaled $5.3 billion.” Pashayev said the bilateral trade between Azerbaijan and Germany made $936 million during the reporting period.
He added that credit investments in the Azerbaijani economy saw a 14.8-fold growth in the last eight years, while capital investment increased 3.7-fold. “Exports increased 10.3 times. The investments in the non-oil sector of the country saw a 9.7-fold rise in the last eight years
