“Azerbaijani export catalogue -2012” presented - PHOTOS

Azerbaijan Marketing Society presented the fourth edition of the “Azerbaijani export catalogue -2012” with support of Foreign Affairs Ministry on Friday.

Chairman of the board of directors of Azerbaijan Marketing Society Rahim Huseynov told of importance of the export catalogue for development of the country`s non-oil sector. “It is the fourth edition of the catalogue. It was issued in printing format in English and as CD in English, German, Spanish, Russian and Arabic languages and has a circulation of 3000. The catalogues will be disseminated by Azerbaijani Diaspora Organizations in abroad among the
representatives of the international structures, state organizations, local and international exhibitions and conferences. The catalogue reflects companies engaged in non-oil sector, food industry, manufacturing, service, tourism and construction sectors.”

Deputy chief of socio-political department of Azerbaijan`s Presidential Administration Tahir Suleymanov told of successful relations established between the governmental and non-governmental organizations, rapid development of Azerbaijan`s economy, including non-oil sector as well as hailed publication of catalogue as effective step in boosting export potential of the country. Suleymanov noted up to now more than 700 NGOs functioning in different sector have been registered. “Currently, export exceeds import two times; share of the non-oil sector is being increasing in the country. Azerbaijan makes investments in foreign countries. The publication will create good opportunities for establishing new relations with partners and determination of the new markets for production and services.”

Executive Director of the Secretariat of Council of State Support to NGOs under President of Azerbaijan Farasat Gurbanov and others hailed publication of the catalogue as an important step in boosting export potential of the country.
