11 May 2013 [09:35] - TODAY.AZ
Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili has vetoed two bills.

As the head of the presidential administration Andro Barnov stated at a press conference today, president used his right to veto the amendments to the Civil Code, which include changes in the legal form of the non-profit entities, and they can become legal entities of public law.

The President vetoed the amendments to the Law on the Constitutional Court, according to which, if the Constitutional Court suspends controversial act or legislation, it must make a decision within 30 days, otherwise the 31-day rule takes effect suspended. This amendment is directly related to the amended Law on Common Courts, since it is likely that the other side will challenge it in the Constitutional Court and the Law on General Courts will be suspended.
